How can I adjust the headband?

Headband can be adjusted max at 40mm (sindle-sided) or 80mm (double-sided) to meet different people's requirements for comfort wearing.

How can I adjust the microphone?

Swing boom is 330° rotatable and flexible. You can place the microphone either on the left or right side. Position the microphone boom to leave a width of 2-3 cm between the lower lip and microphone for best communicating position.

NOTE: Don't rotate the microphone boom over 330° !

How does the modular "Quick Disconnect" connection work?

All Platora telecom headsets are designed as a modular two part solution so in addition to the headset a separate "bottom cable" (QD cord) is required in order to connect to a desired deskphone or other device.

The headset has a cable that ends with a "quick disconnect" plug. To connect to a phone or device you will need a "bottom cable" which on one end is the "quick disconnect" and on the other end is the connection for the deskphone or other device.

What is a "bottom cable" or QD cord?

Can a wired deskphone headset be used with a mobile?

Any Platora telecom headset model with a "Quick Disconnect" can be used to connect to a mobile phone by using a "bottom cable" with a 3.5mm audio jack.

Platora offers two (2) "bottom cables" with a 3.5mm connection which are:
  • QD007 (plain cable)
  • QD007(V) (cable with integrated call control)

Any Platora telecom headset model with a "Quick Disconnect" can be used to connect to a USB port by using a "bottom cable" with a USB connection.

  • USB002 (cable with integrated call control, compatible with UC platforms, like Skype for Business)

All Platora telecom headsets are designed to protect the hearing of those who use them. Acoustic Protection technology for Platora headsets provides hearing protection against sound levels above 100dB, as well as any sudden increase in signal level that may cause injury (acoustic shock).
